Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we explain which data we process when you visit this website and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

KAS Digital Solutions GbR
Edolind Asllani and Max Köglmeier
Franz-Renner-Straße 10, 74072 Heilbronn, Germany
Email: kontakt@kas-digitalsolutions.com

2. Data protection officer

We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer and have therefore not appointed one. For any privacy-related questions, please contact us at the email address above.

3. Hosting

We host this website with Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (“Hetzner”). When you access our website, Hetzner processes the technically required data (see “Server log files”) as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR) in order to provide the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision).

Processing takes place on servers located in Germany. No transfer of your data to countries outside the European Union takes place in the context of hosting.

4. Server log files

When the website is accessed, our host automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. This includes in particular: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL and the requested host name.

This data is used solely for the secure provision of the service and for error analysis and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Log files are stored only for as long as required for secure operation and error analysis, and are deleted afterwards.

5. Contact and contact form

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (first and last name, email address, optionally your company, and your message) in order to handle your request. A request submitted via the form is sent by email to kontakt@kas-digitalsolutions.com.

To send and receive these emails we use a mailbox provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, which processes this data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to your request under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. We store your request until the purpose of processing no longer applies, at the latest six months after the communication has ended. Requests that lead to a contract or to business correspondence are retained in accordance with the statutory retention periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).

Providing your data is neither required by law nor by contract. Without the details marked as required fields (first and last name, email address, message), however, we cannot accept your enquiry.

6. Local storage in your browser

We do not use any cookies and do not use any tracking or analytics tools. For the website to function, we store only three technically necessary entries locally in your browser (localStorage and sessionStorage). These contain solely your own settings and navigation state, no personal identifier, and never leave your browser:

• kascode-sound – whether the background sound on the homepage is enabled
• kascode-skip-intro – remembers for the current session that the intro screen has already been seen (sessionStorage; deleted automatically when the tab is closed)
• kascode-scroll-to – remembers, once per navigation, which section of the page to scroll to (sessionStorage; deleted automatically when the tab is closed)

This storage is strictly necessary within the meaning of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and therefore does not require consent, as it merely applies the setting you have chosen. You can delete these entries at any time via your browser settings.

7. No disclosure to third parties, no third-party services

Apart from hosting and the email service provider named in section 5, we do not share your data with third parties. This website does not embed any external services: no web analytics, no advertising networks, no social media plugins, no external fonts or CDNs, and no embedded third-party content. All content is served from our own domain.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, an informal message to kontakt@kas-digitalsolutions.com is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg (baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de).

10. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of data, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

11. Updates and changes

We update this privacy policy whenever changes in the legal situation or in our processing make it necessary. The version published here at the time applies.
